Thank you so much for writing for me! I’ll start with general likes and DNWs (all contained already in my sign up) and then I’ll babble at length about the fandoms/relationships I requested as well as give some additional prompts. The prompts are just there to give you some ideas - if you don’t feel inspired by them it’s totally fine, and my general likes and the tags I requested offer a lot of other fun possibilities, including things I probably haven’t even thought about! Some of the sections of that letter will be longer than others and I haven’t requested the same number of tags for each fandom, but this is in no way indicative of how much I want something. I would be delighted to get any of the things I requested.

Pining is in the DNA of that ship, and anything about Nico pining for Percy at any moment of canon would be absolutely delicious. The first eight tags I listed here (up to “Guilt over enjoying friendly hugs/physical closeness too much”) are in my mind better suited to Nico > Percy pining, whereas the rest are applicable to both. Nico’s self-hatred for his feelings for Percy in particular and his homosexuality in general are a balm to my soul. Forced intimacy of any kind, something I always like, is particularly good for this ship because Nico canonically runs away from Percy to escape his feelings. Force those two to stick together!
But I’m also open to other scenarios! If you want to set the fic after Heroes of Olympus, you can either ignore Nico’s confession at the end (and his declaration that he’s over Percy), or you can work with it. If you choose the latter, this is a good opportunity to work in some pining Percy! Like, maybe Nico’s confession suddenly makes Percy look at him in a new light and Percy realizes that Nico grew up hot but oh noes! Nico is now over him and maybe dating Will (you can also choose to never have Nico dating Will at all). If Percy is still dating Annabeth and you choose to go with eventually requited Percy/Nico, Percy and Annabeth can either break up or work out a poly arrangement with each other, but in case of Will/Nico I would prefer Will and Nico to break up if Nico gets with Percy. Whatever you decide, no bashing of the canon love interests. I’m okay with any level of requitedness for that ship, but in case of one-sided pining I would prefer it if there was no on-page, explicit rejection.

Both Hikaru and Akira are so obsessed with Go, and their relationship is so entrenched in their rivalry, that I bet it would be a massive shock for either of them to realize that they’re sexually/romantically attracted to the other. Here the tags speak for themselves: they could be either in denial about it, or accept it and try to move the relationship to the next level but be absolute shit at it. This can get either very angsty, or very funny, depending on what sort of mood you prefer - I’m fine with both. Just let Go and their rivalry remain front and center in their relationship with each other - my favorite thing about them is how intense they are about Go and each other.
Here are some additional prompts that I used in other exchange, so which are not pining-specific. They are absolutely not binding.
- I know it's been done to death, but any Sai reveal: can be post canon, can be a divergence AU at any point in canon, can be Hikaru telling Akira or Akira figuring it out himself. If it's a divergence AU, how does it affect Hikaru and Akira's relationship if Akira knows about Sai?
- roles swap AU: Akira is the one who becomes haunted by Sai. He could still be the son of the Meijin while Hikaru is still a regular boy who thinks Go is a game for old people (and the question is: how do they meet and how does Hikaru get dragged into the world of Go?), or the roles swap is complete - Hikaru is the son of a famous Go player and Akira is the regular boy - but they still have their canon personalities as much as applicable.
- post-canon, developing romantic feelings that are deeply entangled in their rivalry and that they have no clue how to deal with.
- figuring out sex together: it's messy, clumsy, intense, and neither of them wants the other to beat him at this new game.
- Akira defending Hikaru to people who thinks he's not worthy of being Akira's rival. Hikaru defending Akira to people criticizing him, either on his game or his personality. Outsider's POV would be especially welcome here.
- Some problem external to Go and his relationship with Hikaru is affecting Akira's game. For the first time in his life, he starts having doubts about his game and wonders if he's worthy of this path. Hikaru is afraid that if Akira loses Go, Hikaru will lose him. Akira should find his spark again at the end, because I can't imagine Akira not love Go!
- Media speculate about the nature of Akira and Hikaru's relationship. Akira and Hikaru are bemused by their conclusions.
- Fantasy AU where Go is replaced by some sort of magical art, and Hikaru and Akira are of course rivals. Bonus points if that magical art is based on Go!

Finny’s loyalty to Ciel in canon is very intense and seems like it could easily turn into more. The part in the Green Witch arc where Finny takes care of Ciel during his breakdown was very good - how careful Finny is with Ciel, how worried he is that he’ll hurt his master with his superhuman strength, the fact that he’s ready to go up against Sebastian, who he respects and admires, when it looks like Ciel is afraid of him. The scene where Finny kneels at Ciel’s feet, crying in relief because Ciel is feeling better, was pure gold. Give me any of those things and I’ll be happy. : ) Any moment in canon is okay - pre-canon, when Finny has just arrived at the Phantomhive mansion, during the series, up to current canon since I’m up to date with the most recent chapters.
Finny seems so innocent and he’s so lacking in real world experience that I feel that it would probably be hard for him to recognize the nature of his feelings for Ciel, but don’t make him too innocent either - characters who don’t know what their dick is for are a turn off! Maybe Finny turns to Sebastian for help untangling his feelings - Sebastian’s reaction to that would be priceless. The crush can start off pretty innocent and then turn sexual if you’re comfortable going there, but no explicit fantasy while Ciel is younger than 13. Although Ciel is observant enough that he would probably realize how Finny feels about him, I can’t imagine him being cruel to Finny or use it against him.
Six of Crows: Kaz Brekker/Jesper Fahey (Jesper pining)

The contrast between their personalities, the fact that Jesper knows what sort of person Kaz is and why it’s a bad idea to like him but does anyway, the loyalty between them (of Jesper to Kaz, but also of Kaz to Jesper, because Kaz can act as indifferent as he wants, it’s obvious that his crew is important to him) are all things that make this ship interesting to me. I didn’t feel like Crooked Kingdom dealt enough with the repercussions of Jesper accidentally betraying the crew and Kaz’s subsequent loss of trust in him, so you’re absolutely welcome to expand on that. The fic can be set pre-canon, when Jesper’s feelings start to develop, during canon, or post-canon (in case of requited feelings, break-ups or poly arrangements with the canon love interests are both fine). Can Jesper really stay out of the Barrel? Will Pekka Rollins make a come back? What if Jesper discovers Kaz’s touch repulsion (I’ve actually written that scenario myself but would be delighted to see someone else’s version of it)? What if any of their numerous enemies caught up with them? What if Jesper’s prized revolvers had been given to him by Kaz (I don’t think canon ever stated where he got them)?
If you write smut, please don’t gloss over Kaz’s issues with touch - they’re the most interesting part about any intimate/sexy scene with Kaz to me!

So many platonic pining options for the Hargreeves siblings! For “all pining”, any of them missing each other during the twelve years of their estrangement would be excellent. How did they feel, hearing about Allison on the news or seeing her face on the covers of gossip magazines? Or when they heard they had a niece? Did they watch her movies? Did any of them ever go to one of Vanya’s concerts? Did Diego and Klaus run into each other since they probably hung around in the same shady neighborhoods? Did they know about Luther going to the moon? How did Luther feel, watching his siblings leaving one after the other and then living in that big empty house with all the memories of their childhood (did he ever watch the surveillance tapes that Pogo showed Allison)? What sort of feelings and memories did Vanya’s book trigger in all of them? Alternatively, I would also love a fic dealing with the aftermath of Five going missing or Ben dying, and the way it impacted their siblings.
For Five pining, one obvious and very welcome option is of course the time he spent in the apocalypse. Him reading Vanya’s book, maybe finding magazines talking about Allison or old Umbrella Academy items (old articles, comics books, action figures - on the show one of the title cards is a case with Umbrella Academy pins, so maybe Five has taken to collecting those items because they remind him of his siblings). Anything that reminds him of them would be both painful and an incentive to survive so he can save them. How does he try to keep the memory of them alive for decades? You could also write about what it feels like for him to see them again in canon after so long, trying to reconnect with them (when there’s no more apocalypse to take care of) and maybe struggling with the feeling that he doesn’t fit with them anymore.
For Ben pining, give me some ghost!Ben pining! Did he see his own funeral? Did he watch his family fall apart after his death? Is he bound to Klaus, and if he isn’t, did he ever go haunt his other siblings, even though they can’t see them? Did he try to make Klaus visit their siblings? How did he feel during canon about being with his siblings but unable to interact with them (personal headcanon that you can use freely: the reason why Ben is so gleeful during the Valkyrie ice-cream truck and subsequent escape scenes is because to him it feels like he’s having fun with his brothers, even if Diego and Luther can’t see him). If Klaus manages to make him visible post-season one or if he somehow gets resurrected through time-travel shenanigans, how does he and the others feel about being able to interact again?
Vanya pining could be set during their adolescence (when the rift between her and the others grew bigger), feeling like she was watching the others from the sidelines, or maybe missing them when they were away on missions and being afraid of the danger they were in. As an adult, what was her thought process when she wrote her book? Was she trying to get back at her family, giving herself a voice, trying to connect with them? A mix of all the above? Did she expect them to try and contact her after the book came out - did any of them do it? Please don’t bash any of the siblings - they were all kids, they all grew up in an abusive household, and their dynamics was poisoned by Reginald and the place he gave to the Umbrella Academy.
One last thing: I chose both feelings eventually requited and feelings never requited for that fandom, but "never requited" here means that I don't need the siblings to be reunited in the fic, but to me they all absolutely care about each other and I don't want the contrary to be stated on page.

Akira should find his spark again at the end, because I can't imagine Akira not love Go!

Finny’s loyalty to Ciel in canon is very intense and seems like it could easily turn into more. The part in the Green Witch arc where Finny takes care of Ciel during his breakdown was very good - how careful Finny is with Ciel, how worried he is that he’ll hurt his master with his superhuman strength, the fact that he’s ready to go up against Sebastian, who he respects and admires, when it looks like Ciel is afraid of him. The scene where Finny kneels at Ciel’s feet, crying in relief because Ciel is feeling better, was pure gold. Give me any of those things and I’ll be happy. : ) Any moment in canon is okay - pre-canon, when Finny has just arrived at the Phantomhive mansion, during the series, up to current canon since I’m up to date with the most recent chapters.
Finny seems so innocent and he’s so lacking in real world experience that I feel that it would probably be hard for him to recognize the nature of his feelings for Ciel, but don’t make him too innocent either - characters who don’t know what their dick is for are a turn off! Maybe Finny turns to Sebastian for help untangling his feelings - Sebastian’s reaction to that would be priceless. The crush can start off pretty innocent and then turn sexual if you’re comfortable going there, but no explicit fantasy while Ciel is younger than 13. Although Ciel is observant enough that he would probably realize how Finny feels about him, I can’t imagine him being cruel to Finny or use it against him.

The contrast between their personalities, the fact that Jesper knows what sort of person Kaz is and why it’s a bad idea to like him but does anyway, the loyalty between them (of Jesper to Kaz, but also of Kaz to Jesper, because Kaz can act as indifferent as he wants, it’s obvious that his crew is important to him) are all things that make this ship interesting to me. I didn’t feel like Crooked Kingdom dealt enough with the repercussions of Jesper accidentally betraying the crew and Kaz’s subsequent loss of trust in him, so you’re absolutely welcome to expand on that. The fic can be set pre-canon, when Jesper’s feelings start to develop, during canon, or post-canon (in case of requited feelings, break-ups or poly arrangements with the canon love interests are both fine). Can Jesper really stay out of the Barrel? Will Pekka Rollins make a come back? What if Jesper discovers Kaz’s touch repulsion (I’ve actually written that scenario myself but would be delighted to see someone else’s version of it)? What if any of their numerous enemies caught up with them? What if Jesper’s prized revolvers had been given to him by Kaz (I don’t think canon ever stated where he got them)?
If you write smut, please don’t gloss over Kaz’s issues with touch - they’re the most interesting part about any intimate/sexy scene with Kaz to me!

So many platonic pining options for the Hargreeves siblings! For “all pining”, any of them missing each other during the twelve years of their estrangement would be excellent. How did they feel, hearing about Allison on the news or seeing her face on the covers of gossip magazines? Or when they heard they had a niece? Did they watch her movies? Did any of them ever go to one of Vanya’s concerts? Did Diego and Klaus run into each other since they probably hung around in the same shady neighborhoods? Did they know about Luther going to the moon? How did Luther feel, watching his siblings leaving one after the other and then living in that big empty house with all the memories of their childhood (did he ever watch the surveillance tapes that Pogo showed Allison)? What sort of feelings and memories did Vanya’s book trigger in all of them? Alternatively, I would also love a fic dealing with the aftermath of Five going missing or Ben dying, and the way it impacted their siblings.
For Five pining, one obvious and very welcome option is of course the time he spent in the apocalypse. Him reading Vanya’s book, maybe finding magazines talking about Allison or old Umbrella Academy items (old articles, comics books, action figures - on the show one of the title cards is a case with Umbrella Academy pins, so maybe Five has taken to collecting those items because they remind him of his siblings). Anything that reminds him of them would be both painful and an incentive to survive so he can save them. How does he try to keep the memory of them alive for decades? You could also write about what it feels like for him to see them again in canon after so long, trying to reconnect with them (when there’s no more apocalypse to take care of) and maybe struggling with the feeling that he doesn’t fit with them anymore.
For Ben pining, give me some ghost!Ben pining! Did he see his own funeral? Did he watch his family fall apart after his death? Is he bound to Klaus, and if he isn’t, did he ever go haunt his other siblings, even though they can’t see them? Did he try to make Klaus visit their siblings? How did he feel during canon about being with his siblings but unable to interact with them (personal headcanon that you can use freely: the reason why Ben is so gleeful during the Valkyrie ice-cream truck and subsequent escape scenes is because to him it feels like he’s having fun with his brothers, even if Diego and Luther can’t see him). If Klaus manages to make him visible post-season one or if he somehow gets resurrected through time-travel shenanigans, how does he and the others feel about being able to interact again?
Vanya pining could be set during their adolescence (when the rift between her and the others grew bigger), feeling like she was watching the others from the sidelines, or maybe missing them when they were away on missions and being afraid of the danger they were in. As an adult, what was her thought process when she wrote her book? Was she trying to get back at her family, giving herself a voice, trying to connect with them? A mix of all the above? Did she expect them to try and contact her after the book came out - did any of them do it? Please don’t bash any of the siblings - they were all kids, they all grew up in an abusive household, and their dynamics was poisoned by Reginald and the place he gave to the Umbrella Academy.
One last thing: I chose both feelings eventually requited and feelings never requited for that fandom, but "never requited" here means that I don't need the siblings to be reunited in the fic, but to me they all absolutely care about each other and I don't want the contrary to be stated on page.
