Dear Parallels writer,

Thanks for writing for me! I’ll start with general likes and DNW, and then I’ll give some prompt ideas for each of my fandoms/relationships. If none of the prompts inspire you, don't worry about it, you can make free use of my general likes - the prompts are just there to give you some ideas to work with. Some of them are fic ideas that would fit a longer fic, but of course I don't expect it given the low minimum wordcount of the challenge, so a scene or two from that idea is absolutely fine. :)

Also, I only requested fic because I'm a writer and I always think in terms of writing, so I didn't know how to ask specifically for art, but if you feel inspired by one of my fandoms/ships/prompts, art treats are absolutely welcome.

General likes:
- canon divergence AUs
- worldbuilding

Kuroshitsuji:

Our Ciel is my absolute favorite in the series and one of my favorite characters ever. If you need to name him by his "real" name I find that "Astre" is the fanon name that makes the most sense in the ones I've seen suggested.

Ciel is a character I love for many reasons. I like that he's physically weak but makes up for it with his intelligence and his strength of will, and I like that he's often underestimated by people who are fooled by age and his appearance. I like that he's ruthless and manipulative, but not entirely uncaring, and that he has an odd sense of honor (that he will of course fiercely deny). I like that he has no patience for self-pity, especially in himself. I like that his trauma is not just a tragic backstory there for flavor only, but that it has real consequences for Ciel and that it sometimes explodes in his face - but I also like that he doesn't let that stop him, ever. I like that he can be both very self-possessed and really awkward at times. I like that despite his very cynical outlook on life he's not a very angsty character and that he still enjoys the little pleasures life can offer (like crushing the will of your opponent). So any fic that plays with these character traits will be gold!

Baldroy & Finnian & Mey-Rin & Sebastian Michaelis & Ciel Phantomhive & Snake & Tanaka:
Some prompts:
- any casefic involving the servants.
- scenes from the early pre-canon days, as the servants are still getting used to their unusual master.
- any/all the servants dealing with Ciel having a nightmare/anything PTSD related.
- outsider POV on the household, their oddness, their strange areas of competence.
- Tanaka's pov on the changes in Ciel post-kidnapping.

Hikaru no Go

Feel free to inject as much Go in your fic as you want - I love Go and play it in real life. But if you don't know much about the game, don't sweat it and be as vague as you want!

Shindou Hikaru/Touya Akira: - I know it's been done to death, but any Sai reveal: can be post canon, can be a divergence AU at any point in canon, can be Hikaru telling Akira or Akira figuring it out himself. If it's a divergence AU, how does it affect Hikaru and Akira's relationship if Akira knows about Sai?
- roles swap AU: Akira is the one who becomes haunted by Sai. He could still be the son of the Meijin while Hikaru is still a regular boy who thinks Go is a game for old people (and the question is: how do they meet and how does Hikaru get dragged into the world of Go?), or the roles swap is complete - Hikaru is the son of a famous Go player and Akira is the regular boy - but they still have their canon personalities as much as applicable.
- post-canon, developing romantic feelings that are deeply entangled in their rivalry and that they have no clue how to deal with. Preferably with a healthy dose of pining. ;)
- figuring out sex together: it's messy, clumsy, intense, and neither of them wants the other to beat him at this new game.
- Akira defending Hikaru to people who thinks he's not worthy of being Akira's rival. Hikaru defending Akira to people critizing him, either on his game or his personality. Outsider's POV would be especially welcome here.
- Some problem external to Go and his relationship with Hikaru is affecting Akira's game. For the first time in his life, he starts having doubts about his game and wonders if he's worthy of this path. Hikaru is afraid that if Akira loses Go, Hikaru will lose him. Akira should find his spark again at the end, because I can't imagine Akira not love Go!
- Media speculate about the nature of Akira and Hikaru's relationship. Akira and Hikaru are bemused by their conclusions.
- any sort of outsider POV on Hikaru and Akira's relationship
- Fantasy AU where Go is replaced by some sort of magical art, and Hikaru and Akira are of course rivals. Bonus points if that magical art is based on Go!

My Country: the New Age

Nam Seon Ho/Seo Hwi: What I love about this ship is that their relationship goes through different phases: best friends who are each other's main source of support, reluctant allies, enemies, etc. I like that they dynamic is always changing, but always intense.

Some prompts:
- AU for the ending where Seon Ho and Hwi somehow don't die and get a happier ending (though it's fine if everything isn't perfect).
- other canon divergences AU: what if Seon Ho and Hwi had been able to make up in Liaodong? What if Hwi and Yeon had managed to escape and Seon Ho had come with them?
- I'm also interested in that four-year period during which they worked together in an uneasy alliance, carrying Nam Jeon's plans while both were plotting to try and get away from under Nam Jeon's thumb - were they really able to always act indifferent toward each other? Was there never an occasion where they slipped and the affection they both still felt showed? It could be an AU where they reconcile earlier, or a canon compliant fic where they return to the status quo afterward.
- reincarnation AU where they get dreams about their past lives, but at first the dreams only give them a partial version of the truth, so that it makes them wary of each other. Bonus points for the time period being something else than modern days.

The King: Eternal Monarch

Jeong Tae-eul/Jo Yeong/Kang Sin-jae: okay, this might seem like an odd one but hear me out. The appeal for me is growing mutual respect of each other's competence, building teamwork, Yeong having to rely on others because he's not in his own world, Tae-eul and Sin-jae being weirded out about their attraction to someone who looks identical to Eun-sup, but is also very different. On the show I really liked all of the pairs' interactions, but I don't quite ship Tae-eul/Sin-jae on its own because their relationship has been what it is for so long that I can't see it changing on its own - but throw Yeong into the mix and it gets interesting.
Some prompts:
- the three of them starting to work together at any point after Yeong swaps with Eun-sup. Or it could be an AU where Yeong has accompanied Gon in his first visit in the Republic of Korea, so the swap happens a lot earlier, before Tae-eul and Gon's relationship has time to develop.
- Sin-jae goes with Tae-eul to escort Lee Rim and retains his memories, but wakes up afterward in the Kingdom of Corea in his new life. Somehow, he gets reunited with the other two.

Jo Yeong/Kang Sin-jae: most of what I've said about Jeong Tae-eul/Jo Yeong/Kang Sin-jae applies to this ship too, with the added flavor of both of them getting over long-time crushes on Tae-eul and Gon respectively and being surprised when they catch feelings for each other (Yeong having romantic feelings for Gon isn't canon but it's easy to headcanon; if you don't want to go there, you can have the platonic version of him progressively finding value in a relationship with someone other than his king).
