Dear Chocolate Box writer,

Thank you for writing for me! I’ll start with general likes and DNW, and then I’ll give some prompt ideas for each of my fandoms/relationships. If none of the prompts inspire you, don't worry about it, you can make free use of my general likes - the prompts are just there to give you some ideas to work with. Some of them are fic ideas that would fit a longer fic, but of course I don't expect it given the low minimum wordcount of the challenge, so a scene or two from that idea is absolutely fine. :) I’m chiiyo86 on AO3 too.

Also, I only requested fic because I'm a writer and I always think in terms of writing, so I didn't know how to ask specifically for art, but if you feel inspired by one of my fandoms/ships/prompts, art treats are absolutely welcome.


General likes:

Percy Jackson and the Olympians & Related Fandoms:

Nico di Angelo/Percy Jackson: they're my OTP, but I’ll reiterate that I’m fine with poly scenarios so you don’t necessarily have to break up Percy/Annabeth, buuuut I have to say I’m not a fan of Will/Nico (in any case, no cheating and no bashing of the other love interests)
Some prompts:
- anything that plays with Percy and Nico's respective powers: discovering new powers/new aspects of their powers, powers that go awry, fun ways to combine their powers.
- Nico and Percy going on a quest together post Blood of Olympus. You can either ignore Nico’s confession at the end or work with it.
- when Percy has lost his memories in Mark of Athena, he and Nico interact more and Percy pushes harder to know why he has the feeling he knows Nico. Maybe Nico goes on the quest with them, maybe they meet him along the way.
- what if Nico fell into Tartarus with Percy and Annabeth? Or fell with Percy instead of Annabeth?
- sex pollen, gods/curse made them do it scenarios. They can be both under the influence, or only one of them. Can be post BoO (with Percy being aware that Nico used to have feelings for him, and both of them thinking that it’s in the past) or not.
- what if, somehow, Percy instead of Jason had been there when Cupid forced Nico to confess?
- at what point did Nico realize the nature of his feelings for Percy?
- Hunger Games AU: Percy and Nico are both tributes. Or Percy can be a former victor who trains Nico. You can include elements from the PJO series in the worldbuilding and make a fusion of the two universes (e.g. there can still be gods and demigods)
- post BoO, Nico’s confession suddenly makes Percy look at him in a new light and Percy realizes that Nico grew up hot but oh noes! Nico is now over him and maybe dating Will (you can also choose to never have Nico dating Will at all).

Nico di Angelo & Hazel Levesque: - more details on their first meeting.
- the two of them figuring out how to be siblings to each other.
- Nico coming out to Hazel, being worried of her reaction given the time period she comes from (I’m fine with Hazel being a little uncomfortable at first, as long as she’s mostly supportive).
- people disputing Nico and Hazel’s claim to siblinghood, either because Nico is a Greek demigod and Hazel is a Roman demigod, or because Nico is white and Hazel is black (in the latter case, it would have to come from strangers).
- Nico and Hazel talking about Bianca.
- what if Nico and Hazel (and Bianca) had never been displaced in time and had met each other in their original time? Note that in that scenario Hazel would be the older sibling.
- Nico and Hazel on a quest together, combining their powers (kind of like what they did at the end of House of Hades)
- both of their relationships with their father; the demigods' relationships to their god parents in the series is fascinating to me.

The Umbrella Academy:

Allison & Ben & Diego & Klaus & Luther & Number Five | The Boy & Vanya: As stated in my list of likes, complicated family dynamics and sibling relationship are 100% my jam, so anything involving those siblings figuring out themselves and each other would be delightful. Five is my favorite, so you're more than welcome to focus on him. I loved season 2 and all the canon romances in it, so you can absolutely include them if you’d like to as long as the focus remains on the siblings.
NB: I realize that my incest DNW gets awkward in this show because of Allison/Luther. You don't have to pretend it doesn't exist but I'd rather you don't make it front and center.
Some prompts:
- anything about their childhood, the good and the bad: their training, the Umbrella Academy missions, their daily lives, small bonding moments with each other. How they react to Five going missing and to Ben dying could be interesting too.
- AU where they run away as kids.
- their POV during the twelve years of their estrangement: How did they feel, hearing about Allison on the news or seeing her face on the covers of gossip magazines? Did they watch her movies? Or when they heard they had a niece? Did any of them ever go to one of Vanya’s concerts? Did Diego and Klaus run into each other since they probably hung around in the same shady neighborhoods? Did they know about Luther going to the moon? How did Luther feel, watching his siblings leaving one after the other and then living in that big empty house with all the memories of their childhood (did he ever watch the surveillance tapes that Pogo showed Allison)? What sort of feelings and memories did Vanya’s book trigger in all of them?
- Five during his time in the Apocalypse, clinging to the memory of his siblings to survive. It looks like he might have collected Umbrella Academy memorabilia, so you can expand on that.
- outsider's POV on the siblings, either from someone one of them know or from a totally random OC.
- post season 2 speculations: how do they deal with being unadopted by Reginald Hargreeves? Do they find out about their alternate selves in that new timeline?
- that sequence in season 2, episode 1 where the siblings kick ass with their powers was super cool, so anything where they explore their abilities would be great.
- the siblings take refuge in an extremely haunted house. It would be particularly interesting to see how it interacts with Klaus’ powers.

Allison Hargreeves & Number Five | The Boy: the most underrated sibling duo! It’s truly a shame that they haven’t interacted more in the show, because they would be fabulous together. Anything with them interacting would make my day, but please, don’t have Allison try to mother Five.
Some prompts:
- that small moment in season 1 of Allison and Five snarking at Diego was great. More of them roasting their siblings, please.
- what was their relationship like as kids?
- they both have a complicated relationship with their powers. On the one hand, they both have thoroughly enjoyed them and used them a lot, but on the other hand they each had their powers backfire on them. This is something that could be interesting to explore!
- we were robbed of their reunion in season 2 (and Five’s reunion with Klaus). What happened when Five went to pick up Allison at her house for the family meeting and found a tipsy Allison and Klaus?
- they find themselves in a situation where they need to convince people that they’re related. People are doubtful.
- they talk of how Five got to know Claire’s name. Make me cry!

Claire & Number Five | The Boy: I’m not big on kid fic, but there’s something intriguing about how Five interacting with Claire would be unlike him interacting with anyone else, and about how she would react to an adult who looks like a young teenager - would she be capable of grasping it? How different would she act with him in comparison to her other uncles and aunt?
- Five and Claire meet for the first time: how does it go? Terribly or surprisingly well?
- any scenario where there is danger and Five has to protect Claire from it, trying to balance keeping her safe and not utterly traumatizing her with violence.

My Country: the New Age:

Nam Seon Ho/Seo Hwi: What I love about this ship is that their relationship goes through different phases: best friends who are each other's main source of support, reluctant allies, enemies, etc. I like that they dynamic is always changing, but always intense.

Some prompts:
- AU for the ending where Seon Ho and Hwi somehow don't die and get a happier ending (though it's fine if everything isn't perfect).
- other canon divergences AU: what if Seon Ho and Hwi had been able to make up in Liaodong? What if Hwi and Yeon had managed to escape and Seon Ho had come with them?
- I'm also interested in that four-year period during which they worked together in an uneasy alliance, carrying Nam Jeon's plans while both were plotting to try and get away from under Nam Jeon's thumb - were they really able to always act indifferent toward each other? Was there never an occasion where they slipped and the affection they both still felt showed? It could be an AU where they reconcile earlier, or a canon compliant fic where they return to the status quo afterward.
- reincarnation AU where they get dreams about their past lives, but at first the dreams only give them a partial version of the truth, so that it makes them wary of each other. Bonus points for the time period being something else than modern days.
